Banana French Toast

Nothing says "weekend" like French toast, and this easy Banana French Toast offers the sweetness of regular French Toast without all the sugar. You can count on one hand how long it takes to put together and is a hit for both the littles and the adults in your family. Serve it up with some of our favourite dips and add hemp heart sprinkles for both fun and nutrition.

Equipment

  • 1 Large Bowl
  • 1 Frying Pan
  • 1 Spatula
  • 1 1/8 Cup measuring cup

Ingredients

  • 1 Banana Usually the riper the sweeter
  • 1/8 cup Milk or Favourite Milk Alternative
  • 2 Eggs
  • 3 Slices Toast We like Sourdough
  • 1 tsp Butter Both salted and salt free work

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, mash the banana
  • Add 2 eggs and the 1/8 cup of milk
  • Mix!
  • Melt a bit of butter in a non-stick pan over medium heat
  • Dip the toast to coat all over in the mix and add to your pan
  • Let sit for 1 min or until the edges are cooked (when they are white) and flip

Notes

We love serving this with peanut butter and Yogurt dip dip with a side of fruit and top with a sprinkle with Hemp Hearts. If you want some extra sweetness, use our easy Raspberry dip and if you have some time, whip up some Whipped Cream!
